Secure Bootloader and Minimal RTOS for IoT Devices

FortiPi is a custom-built, security-focused embedded system designed for Raspberry Pi-based IoT devices. It features a cryptographically secure bootloader that ensures only trusted firmware is executed by verifying digital signatures before boot.

On top of that, it runs a minimal FreeRTOS-based real-time operating system with essential features like task scheduling, GPIO control, and interrupt handling—crafted to be lightweight and efficient for edge deployments. The system includes a robust rollback mechanism to safely recover from corrupted or faulty firmware updates, and leverages U-Boot for boot sequence control. FortiPi emphasizes resilience, reliability, and control in low-resource environments.

Real-Time MERN-Based Task Management and Collaboration App

Developed a fully functional full-stack project management platform using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) with a focus on team collaboration. The app features secure user authentication via Google OAuth 2.0, role-based access control, and protected routing. Real-time communication is powered by Socket.io, enabling live task updates and synchronized project boards. Additional features include user tagging, activity tracking, and notification systems—offering complete transparency and efficiency for distributed teams.

System Monitoring Daemon for Edge and Embedded Devices

Built a low-overhead system monitoring daemon in Go that gathers performance metrics such as CPU usage, memory consumption, disk I/O, and network traffic using native syscalls and eBPF. Metrics are exposed via a gRPC interface, seamlessly integrating with Prometheus for visualization and alerting. The backend uses SQLite for lightweight incident logging and customizable alert rules.

Created a complete, client-specific e-commerce platform built on Shopify, enabling independent product sales without relying on marketplaces like Amazon. Customized the storefront using Liquid templates and JavaScript to deliver a polished, brand-consistent user experience.

Integrated advanced features such as real-time inventory management, multi-gateway payment processing (Stripe, Razorpay), and third-party apps for analytics and invoicing. Focused on performance and SEO optimization to boost product visibility and drive organic traffic and conversions.
